Terms and Policies

Web Return Policy

Our goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Please inspect your
order immediately upon receipt and contact ARTiculations if:

  • There is noticeable damage to the product.
  • The product shipped to you has been sent in error.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase (date as appears on your invoice), provided the returned product is unused and in sellable condition.
If you have received the shipment and a product is damaged, we recommend that you inspect the package before you sign for it and if there is obvious damage from shipping we recommend you refuse the shipment.

If product was ordered by the customer in error:

  • The customer is responsible for shipping charges on the return.
  • A 15% restocking fee will be charged if applicable.
  • Please call for details.

The same credit card used to make the purchase will be credited with the refund. The credit will be made within 7-10 business days of us receiving and verifying the returned merchandise.

* No refunds or exchanges on pens, markers, cut goods, and books.
* Gift Certificates are not returnable and non-refundable.
* Shipping charges are non-refundable. We will gladly refund your original shipping cost if you
are returning an item because of an error on our part, or we have determined that the product is
defective or damaged.

Please save your receipt!
We will accept unused, regularly stocked merchandise for refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase. Simply return the complete product to us in its clean, original packaging accompanied by the bill of sale. We regret that some products are exchange only or final sale and cannot be
returned for a refund. Please see the list below.

Refunds will be made in the form of original payment.

Program Registration

All ARTiculations workshops require advance registration, unless otherwise noted. Admission to Artist Talks is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

In the event of a workshop cancellation, registrants will be notified prior to the workshop start date and a full refund will be given. Participant cancellations are not refundable within two business days of the workshop date.

In Person: drop by the shop and register for your favourite class with debit, credit card, cheque
or cash.

Youth Registration: We require the ARTiculations Youth Registration Package to be completed for your child prior to participating in our programming. Once completed, this package is kept on file for the academic year.


The majority of our orders are shipped via Canada Post. If you prefer an alternate carrier for your package, please telephone us at 1.416.901.7464 to place your order. Please note that our staff will need to calculate your actual shipping costs which will be applied to your order. Alternately, you can also email us at [email protected] Your order will normally leave our shop 2-4 business days after you place your order. In the event of an unavoidable delay, you will be contacted by one of our staff. Please note that the date you can expect to receive your purchase is determined by the method of shipment and where your parcel is being shipped to.

Shipping charges on orders which are overweight or oversized will be subject to a surcharge. In these instances we will contact you to confirm the cost of shipping before shipping your order. {Some examples of oversized and overweight products include:  equipment such as some easels, drawing tables, most clays, printing presses, large boards, large pre-stretched canvas and rools of canvas, paper cutters and furniture.}

Please note chemicals, certain consumables and oversized items (eg. Printers, Scanners, Backdrops) may require special shipping and handling charges, or procedures.

We accept Visa, Amex or Mastercard only. If you are interested in paying by cheque or money order, please telephone us at 1.416.901.7464 to place your order. Occasionally we run into out-of-stock situations because of supply fluctuations. If we happen to be out-of-stock on a particular item, we will contact you to discuss a substitute product. If no substitute is available, then we will ship your order and cancel any backorders.

When your parcel arrives, please take a quick look to see if the package is damaged in any way. If there is substantial damage to the package or your goods, please write 'Damaged' on the shipping slip above your signature in order to refuse the package and establish a claim. Please contact ARTiculations to let us know of any damages within 7 days of receiving your order.

Customers wanting to place an order, to be shipped anywhere in the U.S. or Internationally, will be contacted by a staff member with a quote for the shipping charges. You will be responsible for any customs charges or taxes. We are not responsible for any delays this may cause.
